What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Hire, lead, manage, and coach a team of 11-13 retail sales representatives
- Participate in strategic planning for the retail channel and implement business plans to grow market share and sales
- Assist retail sales reps with business development planning and execution
- Foster relationships with key distribution partners to drive growth and maximize performance
- Serve as the primary contact for escalation of issues brought forward by retail sales representatives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5-7 years of sales experience in retail and/or home center channels (e.g., Home Depot, Lowe's)
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of coaching and mentoring talent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Dynamics)
- Strong public speaking skills and ability to communicate effectively across various organizational levels
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Sales/Marketing
- Experience and knowledge of the wholesale distribution channel
- Completion of a professional sales training program or certification
