What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct various types of audits, including individual chart/bill audits and compliance audits
- Provide post-go-live audit support and assist with patient requests for audits
- Collaborate with Revenue Cycle team members to achieve specific objectives
- Identify and resolve inefficiencies in charge capture and revenue cycle processes
- Manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a high-production environment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, or 5 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting
- Minimum of 3 years' experience utilizing EPIC or MEDITECH and data reporting functions
- Experience working with Revenue Cycle team members to accomplish objectives
- Strong background in using Epic for documentation and improving revenue cycle processes
- Proven ability to effectively manage time and achieve results in a fast-paced environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent
- Case Management Healthcare Professional certification upon hire
- 3 years of experience in case management or similar roles in an acute care setting
- 2 years of experience in a Revenue Cycle or Revenue Integrity role
- 1 year of experience in a multi-hospital or integrated healthcare system
