What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Post payments to collection accounts, reconcile with bank transactions, and manage refunds as needed
- Perform cash application functions in alignment with corporate and client requirements
- Access and understand various online systems to accurately apply payments and adjustments
- Prepare and record financial transactions for assigned accounts, maintaining accurate financial history
- Research and accurately distribute payments without apparent invoice numbers or dates of service
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business, or three (3) years of Accounting/Finance experience
- Strong knowledge of healthcare claims is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and system databases
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in healthcare finance or revenue cycle management
- Familiarity with compliance and recovery laws related to cash processes
- Ability to work well in both individual and team environments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
