What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process dental claims for payment by insurance companies, ensuring timely coding, billing, and collections
- Perform manual and electronic posting functions for all payors/patient accounts, including cash balancing and bank deposit reconciliation
- Conduct follow-up and collections activities, including making phone calls and accessing payer websites
- Initiate appeals and ensure all required documentation is submitted during the appeal process
- Research and resolve claims rejected or denied by insurance, ensuring accurate billing practices

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3-5 years of Dental or Medical experience
- Prior experience in Dental Office workflows and Revenue Cycle functions, including scheduling, registration, and insurance verification
- Experience with practice management software systems and insurance portals, along with strong PC skills (especially in Excel)
- Proven attention to detail with strong analytical skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with banking reconciliation software
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent math and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with data entry and 10-key by touch
