What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the revenue liaison between revenue cycle management departments, hospital, and ambulatory departments
- Provide guidance on correct charge capture and billing processes to clinical departments and facilities
- Perform reviews and assessments of charge capture for departments
- Identify trends and participate in resolving revenue/charge-related issues
- Develop specifications to modify existing charge capture applications to reduce claim edits/rejections

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Nursing, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in charge documentation, charge audit, or charge capture activities
- Proficient knowledge of ICD/CPT coding; CPC or CCS-P certification required
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Epic HB/PB experience preferred
- Related Epic certification and/or Epic proficiency preferred
