What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze financial data to identify errors, trends, or anomalies affecting revenue
- Investigate billing discrepancies and perform account reconciliations to recover lost revenue
- Collaborate with various teams to resolve disputes and secure payments
- Prepare and submit claims and adjustments for outstanding revenue recovery
- Maintain documentation of recovery efforts and support audits as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in revenue accounting and collections within the insurance broker industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data manipulation
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with direct bill accounting or accounts receivable collections
- Familiarity with accounting software and insurance agency management systems, particularly Business Central, Epic, and BenefitPoint
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
