      Job Description

      Role: Reward Manager, South Asia

      Location: Mumbai, India

      Context

      It is an exciting time to be part of the South Asia HR team and work with the Rewards team. The role holder will play a key role in 2023 to deliver reward solutions for the WL1+ white-collared population based out of Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. The role holder is expected to provide strategic support to the Line Manager, Country Reward Partners, and Country HR Leads in running reward expertise solutions for the cluster. They will partner with the HRBPs and People Experience organization to proactively understand issues and create reward solutions, resolve all reward queries, administer and run reward related policies.

      We are therefore looking for someone who is passionate and willing to take this trajectory to the next level and raise the bar on our comprehensive reward practices. This role will equip the incumbent to drive strategy in action, influence and impact change and leadership at scale. It provides an opportunity for HR talent to sharpen their business acumen and gain an understanding of varied markets.

      What the job entails

      • Responsible for Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka Reward, with country Reward Partners reporting to the incumbent

      • Lead the Annual Benchmarking and APR cycle exercise for the countries along with local reward partners and Ex Teams the three countries

      • Ensure parity in principles of key benefits across the region in-line with Unilever Reward principles for BSPAN

      • Work with Pakistan Reward Manager on new policies and changes as part of the extended team

      • Work with India Reward team on Automation and Governance Projects for the cluster

      • Lead, support, and develop the teams while driving parity, efficiency & automation to enhance reward experience for our employees

      • Ensure strong governance around reward policies in line with SA principles and Unilever processes

      • Streamline, maintain & improve processes and internal controls with respect to APR

      • Team leadership through active recruiting and managing of talent including, motivating, coaching, training and mentoring team members

      • Collaborate with HR Leads and business partners to design program and policies to spread awareness and benefits of our reward, health and wellbeing initiatives

      • Work with treasury and reward team on reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes

      Key Skills / Experiences:

      • Ability to work with vast quantities of data/numbers and cull insights from them

      • Ability to approach a problem with rigors, creativity and logical mindset to help arrive at solution

      • Interpersonal and communication skills, ability to challenge while providing alternate solutions wherever relevant

      • Customer service and relationship management skills

      • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment

      • Ability to build and nurture external networks and generate best practices / insights
