What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Set direction and implement ongoing routing excellence and KPI performance improvements across markets
- Drive KPI attainment and improvements through process improvement plans and Operations Excellence plays
- Work closely with Regional VP Operations to prioritize market support and drive improvement
- Partner with cross-functional teams, particularly sales, to enhance routing performance
- Document and communicate routing-related business processes, procedures, and workflows
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in business, transportation and logistics, operations management, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of business management experience, including strategy implementation
- Familiarity with transportation and routing leading practices and performance metrics
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence peers and senior leaders
- Experience leading projects in large, cross-functional organizations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Routing experience in the food distribution industry
- Previous experience in team building and performance management
