What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review daily production and adjustment reports to ensure claims are closed within designated turnaround times
- Process adjustment claims for Anthem and Blue Cross Blue Shield
- Communicate effectively with internal departments regarding claims and adjustments
- Review and address exception reports sent by Anthem
- Close out claims in various Blue Cross Blue Shield applications
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 3 years of medical claims processing experience
- Adjustment experience is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to learn Microsoft Access
- Effective oral and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with the QicLink claims processing system
- Experience with Jointly Administered Arrangements (JAA)
