What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Consult with administration and instructional staff on ELL/MLL/ESL/ELD/ESOL reading and writing instruction
- Assist in developing strategies for effective teaching of ELL/MLL/ESL/ELD/ESOL students
- Participate in student data review meetings and support the RTI framework
- Facilitate meetings to align ELA services and develop additional services as needed
- Assist in the ongoing training of ELA interventionists
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Masters Degree preferred
- Reading Specialist certification or equivalent required
- Current and appropriate teaching license in relevant field
- TESOL Certification preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience as a literacy interventionist or equivalent in an educational setting
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
