What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct legal research and provide expert guidance on AHCCCS' rulemaking process
- Draft and maintain the agency's administrative rules, five-year review reports, and policy statements
- Coordinate and conduct oral hearings and monitor timelines for multiple rulemakings
- Support attorneys with drafting legal documents related to fraud and overpayments
- Maintain accurate records of litigation matters and administrative hearings in tracking systems
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Current Arizona Driver License
- Four (4) years of professional experience in a legal environment and a paralegal certificate or certification
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state laws affecting AHCCCS programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to draft complex legal documents
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

- Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or a closely related field
- Experience in government agency program administration and policy development
