- Own all aspects of managing plans and budgets for key retailer in your channel, focusing on profitability, mix and revenue growth.
- Develop your team, including a focus on individual development plans, engagement and performance.
- Deliver sales growth and profitability for your given account and assigned sales channel.
- Advocate on behalf of your retail partners and channel to ensure the appropriate go to market strategy and marketing programs are developed and executed.
- Establish strategic direction for the sales channel to increase sales, profitability, and market share.
- Set goals and objectives and drive the plan to accomplish budgeted sales channel contribution.
- Provide insights & direction for new & current products, pricing and distribution strategies.
- Analyze trends in the marketplace, our competitors and the industry to create overall market strategies on which to base business decisions.
- Work directly with the category team to lead brand, channel and account specific initiatives.
- Build customer relationships at the buyer level and facilitate connectivity in other functional areas.
- Drive distribution, shelving, pricing and promotion strategy to optimize sales performance and trade spend efficiency.
- Develop strong relationships internally and lead cross functional collaboration to drive the most efficient ways of working with RSC support teams.
- Monitor account and customer performance and address opportunities as they occur.
- Manage and enforce PSB MRP policy and pricing.
- Negotiate and manage new programs, promotions, trade funds and terms.
- Work with demand planning to develop accurate sales forecasts and achieve specified levels of forecast accuracy
- Manage the account level P&L's for the accounts in your channel. This includes improving shape, eliminating contra, and growing overall profitability.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related
- 5 years of relative experience working with or in the sales organization, and retail partners
- Category/market insights and channel experience a must
- Proficiency with MS Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong understanding of online/omni account management
- Experience with and firm understanding of syndicated data (Nielsen/IRI) and how to use it to close
- Ability to travel up to 40% overnight travel

Summary of Position:
We're looking for a Sales Team Lead for our Farm/AG channel to develop and empower our sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for growing the profitably of key retail partners within the designated channel. In this position, you will lead an experienced team of account managers and broker partners to lead and achieve your channel budget. You will be responsible for understanding and leading your team in every aspect of the business, including; budgeting, account planning, forecasting, sales, marketing, inventory, and day to day operations. You will be responsible for internal channel reporting as well as representing the channel to the executive team. In this role, you will develop teammates on your team as part of our robust succession planning and teammate career development focus. You will lead the execution of joint business plans with our retail partners and gain internal alignment and support from cross functional teammates.
