What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct outside sales visits to customer homes and trade shows, delivering professional sales presentations
- Assess customer needs and develop customized price quotes and product recommendations
- Present warranty and financing options to customers, ensuring all sales-related paperwork is completed accurately
- Prospect for new customers within assigned stores and at industry events, while maintaining relationships with store management and associates
- Attend sales and team meetings to continuously improve sales techniques and product knowledge
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be eighteen years of age or older
- Legally permitted to work in the United States
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a sales role
- Ability to maintain 55 hours of open calendar time per week for customer appointments and prospecting
- Access to reliable transportation for regular and frequent local travel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 3-5 years of prior in-home or virtual sales experience
- Experience in the home improvement industry
- Successful lead generation experience
- Proficiency in using technology and applications (email, iPad, apps, etc.)
