      Position Overview

      The Analyst will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical implementation for the Sales Crediting System. This role will translate business requirements, analyze data patterns, design reporting solutions, and support strategic decision-making for sales attribution processes.

      Technical Skills

      Must Have:
      • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills (complex queries, stored procedures)
      • Experience with data quality management
      • Proficiency with Excel
      • Understanding of data modeling concepts
      • Comprehensive ETL process knowledge and experience, including:
        • Understanding of data extraction methods from various source systems (CRM, transaction systems, etc.)
        • Experience designing and implementing data transformations for sales crediting rules
        • Knowledge of data loading best practices and validation procedures
        • Ability to monitor ETL workflows and troubleshoot failures
        • Experience documenting ETL processes for business and technical audiences
        • Understanding of incremental load strategies vs. full replacement loads
        • Experience with data reconciliation between source and target systems
        • Ability to optimize ETL processes for performance


      Good to Have:
      • Experience with Salesforce data structures
      • Knowledge of SQL performance optimization
      • Familiarity with ETL scheduling and orchestration tools
      • SQL Server Management Studio proficiency
      • Experience with reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau)

      • Understanding of sales attribution and crediting processes
      • Understanding of basic financial concepts

      • Knowledge of mutual fund industry terminology
      • Knowledge of retirement and annuity products
      • Familiarity with sales compensation structures


      Key Responsibilities
      • Design and implement reporting solutions for sales attribution
      • Design and monitor ETL processes for sales data integration
      • Develop data transformation rules for complex sales attribution scenarios
      • Lead root cause analysis for data discrepancies and system issues
      • Develop and maintain documentation for sales crediting processes
      • Create and maintain data quality monitoring procedures
      • Execute routine data quality checks and monitoring
      • Support ad-hoc reporting requests related to sales crediting
      • Assist with testing of system enhancements
