What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Respond to and qualify inbound leads, ensuring timely and thoughtful discovery to assess fit
- Drive outbound lead generation through proactive outreach to potential prospects
- Conduct discovery conversations using the BANT methodology to qualify leads for sales handoff
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to prioritize outreach efforts and messaging
- Track and report on outreach progress and key metrics to management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 1-2 years of experience in a sales development, business development, or customer-facing role
- Proven ability to meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for lead response and outreach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Salesforce and HubSpot is preferred
- A relentless drive to learn, grow, and develop as a sales professional
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in SaaS is an asset, although not required
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle a steady volume of leads
- Proactive and persistent approach to engaging prospects
- Charismatic communication skills to build rapport quickly
- Community-oriented mindset with a desire to empower local organizations
