What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build and manage a comprehensive book of business to increase revenue through direct sales and partnerships with nonprofit and advocacy organizations
- Set and achieve sales targets while contributing to the development and expansion of the revenue strategy
- Own the full sales lifecycle from lead identification to contracting and handoff to the client success team
- Track key metrics to evaluate sales strategies and provide insights to the product team
- Research and develop new business opportunities both remotely and through in-person events
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3-8 years of experience in a sales role, ideally in a software company, consulting firm, or marketing agency serving nonprofits
- Deep understanding of the needs and structure of nonprofit and advocacy organizations
- Proven ability to self-manage towards defined sales goals
- Experience owning the full sales lifecycle, including cold prospecting and pitching
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with the survey research field and the political landscape
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and solve undefined challenges in an early-stage environment
- Experience using Hubspot or a similar CRM
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
