What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive opportunities for the employer's product portfolio by supporting the account team in designing and providing technology solutions
- Participate in strategic and tactical account planning
- Provide technical support during sales presentations, customer meetings, and trade shows
- Lead the discovery process to understand and document customer technical and business requirements
- Prepare and present customer-facing technical presentations regarding the employer's security offerings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5-15 years of experience as a Sales Engineer within the Cybersecurity industry
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience designing connectivity solutions to public cloud services such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with network security solutions such as firewalls, VPNs, and network access control (NAC)
- Current CCNA, CCIE, CISSP, or equivalent networking/security certifications desired
- Direct experience with scripting and RESTful APIs in languages such as JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience deploying, managing, or selling services tied to major public cloud providers
- Familiarity with process frameworks such as MOF, ITIL, or ITSM
- Understanding of authentication protocols and services such as Active Directory, RADIUS, SAML, and OIDC
- Knowledge of encryption standards such as AES, PKI, RSA, TLS
- Familiarity with serverless computing including Kubernetes and Docker
