What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop accurate project quotations based on customer requests and specifications using Salesforce and CPQ tools
- Review bid documents and analyze customer needs to deliver compliant, value-engineered solutions
- Draft submittal packages to support bid approvals and timely award processes
- Communicate with channel partners and internal teams to ensure complete and accurate orders
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quoting and order processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of experience in quoting, project coordination, inside sales, or sales operations supporting technical solutions
- Proficiency with Salesforce, CPQ tools, and Excel; familiarity with Adobe/Bluebeam and shared file systems
- Experience with public-sector procurement and bid portal workflows
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with electrical distributors, contractors, or public-sector project quoting in the intelligent transportation systems sector
- Ability to read plan sets and interpret specifications/SOWs
- Experience in a fast-paced environment managing multiple deadlines
- Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills
