- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, while also identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Meet and exceed sales targets by developing and executing sales strategies and initiatives
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity
- Collaborate with internal teams, including design, production, and marketing, to ensure that customer needs are met and sales goals are achieved
- Provide exceptional customer service, including resolving any issues or concerns that arise
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to network and promote the company's products
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in handbag sales, fashion, and apparel sales - must be at the wholesale level.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building strong client relationships
- MUST have experience selling to small boutiques, not only the major retailers
- Willing to travel to 3 trade shows a year that will be out of state
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present and negotiate with clients
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of the apparel industry, including trends, competitors, and market dynamics
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred
