What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and develop a mid to moderately complex group of agency assignments to optimize growth potential
- Prospect and appoint new agencies while exceeding year-over-year growth and profit objectives
- Collaborate with team members on product, pricing, and agency management decisions
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans for assigned territories
- Provide training and support to agents regarding Travelers' systems and products
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of three years of professional and influential work experience
- Intermediate knowledge of agency diagnostics and the ability to assess agency operations
- Advanced relationship management and communication skills
- Advanced problem-solving abilities and decisiveness
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Five years of sales or insurance industry experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Advanced ability to influence sales and advise agents
- Proven track record of delivering results and driving for success
- Ability to demonstrate resilience and commitment to achieving outcomes
