What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive adoption of the employer's oncology portfolio, including hereditary cancer testing and tumor profiling
- Build and maintain relationships with key oncology accounts and healthcare professionals
- Develop and execute territory plans to exceed sales goals and identify new commercial opportunities
- Deliver clinical education presentations to oncologists and healthcare teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product adoption and marketing efforts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience in oncology, molecular diagnostics, or a related healthcare sector
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in competitive markets
- Strong clinical acumen with the ability to interpret and communicate scientific data
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (50-75%)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience selling clinical products specifically in oncology therapeutic areas
- Proven ability to drive adoption in complex healthcare environments
- Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM systems
- Familiarity with HIPAA laws and patient privacy regulations
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience in managing complex accounts
