What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify, develop, and manage commercial relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders
- Capitalize on growth opportunities within the designated Chicago South territory
- Manage the full lifecycle of the product sales process, including new business development
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create sales and marketing collateral
- Stay informed on industry trends in personalized medicine
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of diagnostic sales or specialty pharmaceutical sales experience
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM required
- Proven track record of developing and managing commercial relationships
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Specific knowledge in personalized medicine is strongly preferred
- Experience in building and growing a sales territory through commercial programs
- Excellent time management, scheduling, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of HIPAA laws and patient privacy ethics
