What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Greet customers and ensure they feel welcomed in the retail location
- Assist customers in determining their needs and educate them on product selections
- Support the management team in implementing merchandising and operational procedures
- Maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure merchandise quality and presentation
- Efficiently operate the POS system, process transactions, and provide excellent customer service
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Passion for horticulture, yard/home décor, and seasonal merchandise
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, both indoors and outdoors
- Skills in multitasking, prioritization, and working independently or as part of a team
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in retail or customer service
- Knowledge of floral decorations and home décor displays
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail operations
- Enthusiasm for learning and participating in product knowledge activities
