What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Greet customers promptly to ensure they feel welcomed in the retail location
- Assist customers in determining their needs and educate them on product selections
- Support the management team with merchandising and operational procedures
- Efficiently operate the POS system, including scanning items and processing payments
- Maintain merchandise stock levels, quality, and presentation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must have a passion for horticulture, yard/home décor, and seasonal merchandise
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, rain or shine
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or as part of a team
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a retail environment, particularly in home and garden sectors
- Familiarity with floral decorations and home décor displays
- Experience with customer engagement and sales strategies
