About the job
At Nile, we envision a world where enterprise networks defend against cyber threats, eliminate lateral attack vectors like ransomware, and operate with simplicity. Our mission is to deliver a Campus Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) that makes network operations virtually invisible, pushing the boundaries of autonomy. Imagine a network that continuously monitors, optimizes, and upgrades itself-all without human intervention.
Since 2018, we've been on a bold journey to disrupt the $100 billion enterprise networking market, starting with wired and wireless LAN. Today, our Nile Access Service is redefining connectivity for organizations worldwide-from cutting-edge technology companies to healthcare and financial institutions.
Where do we go from here? That's where you come in. We are looking for a seasoned and strategic leader to join our team as Sales Leader - East, to accelerate our growth in this key region and take Nile to the next level.
Role Description
As the Sales Leader - East, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, leading the regional sales strategy, and managing a team of high-performing Account Executives across the Eastern U.S. Your primary focus will be building relationships with key enterprise customers, scaling sales operations, and executing Nile's go-to-market strategy to achieve ambitious growth targets.
You will be a key leader within the sales organization, responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales plan that aligns with Nile's broader business objectives. This is a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on the company's trajectory while leading a team to success in a rapidly expanding market.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership: Own the sales strategy and execution for the Eastern region. Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Account Executives to drive revenue growth, expand customer accounts, and meet/exceed sales targets.
• Market Expansion: Develop and implement a regional go-to-market strategy to drive customer acquisition and expand market share. Identify new business opportunities and strategic accounts across various industries, including technology, healthcare, financial services, and beyond.
• Customer Relationships: Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key enterprise clients. Serve as a trusted advisor, delivering tailored solutions that address their business challenges using Nile's cutting-edge NaaS technology.
• Pipeline Development: Collaborate with marketing, sales operations, and sales engineering teams to build a robust sales pipeline. Leverage data-driven insights to manage pipeline health and drive consistent performance across the team.
• Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasting and performance metrics to senior leadership. Use data to refine sales strategies, identify growth opportunities, and adjust tactics as needed.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including product management, customer success, and engineering, to ensure seamless customer experiences from initial engagement through long-term relationship management.
• Team Building: Attract, retain, and develop top sales talent. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, ensuring your team is equipped with the tools and training to succeed.
• Executive Presence: Represent Nile at industry events, conferences, and client meetings. Act as a spokesperson for the brand, championing our mission and building thought leadership in the enterprise networking space.
Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the networking, network security, or SaaS industries.
• Proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams and exceeding revenue goals in enterprise sales environments.
• Strong experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for new products and technologies.
• Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence C-level executives and other key decision-makers.
