What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the Michigan sales team in meeting and exceeding revenue and margin targets
- Develop, communicate, and execute effective sales strategies focused on growth and long-term partnerships
- Identify opportunities for new business and proactively engage with customers
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Recruit, train, and develop sales representatives while ensuring excellent customer service
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in building materials distribution preferred
- Prior sales experience is required
- Established industry relationships in Eastern Michigan
- Previous management experience is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with COGNOS and Agility software is preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
