- Achieve and exceed region’s quarterly and annual sales quota, strategic and unit sales mix objectives, profit goal and market share goals.
- Provide the direction, leadership, coaching and mentoring for direct sales representatives. Advance the professional development, professional conduct, sales effectiveness and efficiency of associates.
- Recruit, develop, and train sales representatives and specialists with clearly communicated sales and overall performance standards.
- Forecast monthly revenue projections utilizing the company CRM (Salesforce.com). Drive standard work to funnel management process in CRM (Salesforce.com)
- Develop, solidify and maintain high-level relationships within key accounts (including NA Top 10) in assigned geography; these relationships should include Senior Hospital Management (C-Suite), Laboratory Administration, Department of Pathology, Purchasing and/or Materials Management, Contracts Administration and other key departments and/or personnel.
- Achieve and sustain high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years relevant sales experience
- Prior management experience
- Prior capital sales experience
- Contract negotiation/high level selling experience or selling in a matrixed environment
- Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to travel – 50-75%
- Must Possess a valid Driver’s license.
- Ability to travel overnight for territory coverage (if applicable) and/or for company meetings
- Education: Degree in Life Sciences or Master’s Degree in Business/MBA
- Diagnostics, Life Science and/or Pathology experience preferred

The Sales Manager-Immunohistochemistry for Leica Biosystems is responsible for developing and executing a successful sales strategy and plan for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion across region. They are also responsible for leading a team of sales representatives to exceed Leica Biosystems sales goals and deliver on commercial strategies.
This position is part of the Commercial Team located in Deer Park, Illinois and will be remote. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $170,000. This job is also eligible for commission , and the total compensation target is $220,000 - $250,000 annually. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
