What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and vendors in the assigned territory
- Exceed revenue and profit goals on a quarterly and annual basis
- Manage and report on a weekly pipeline of sales opportunities, quotes, and orders
- Travel to client locations and attend industry events to cultivate sales opportunities
- Collaborate with customers on product development and enhancements based on their needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven work experience as a Sales Representative
- Established understanding of Government Sales and Federal Contracting
- Experience working with Department of Defense, Military, Federal Agencies, and Law Enforcement
- Bachelor's Degree and three years of sales experience; or 5 years of industry experience in lieu of education
- Strong communication skills and the ability to negotiate effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with NetSuite or other ERP systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
- Ability to obtain security clearance, if required
- Experience in developing marketing strategies to generate sales leads
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
