What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and vendors to create sales opportunities.
- Manage a weekly pipeline of sales opportunities, quotes, and orders.
- Develop requirements for future bids and contract quotations with customers.
- Provide price quotations and establish terms, warranties, and delivery dates for products.
- Assist in data entry and generating quotes for customers alongside Inside Sales.
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven work experience as a Sales Representative.
- Established understanding of Government Sales and Federal Contracting.
- Experience working with Department of Defense, Military, Federal Agencies, and Law Enforcement.
- Strong communication skills and ability to negotiate effectively.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain security clearance if required.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree and three years of sales experience, or five years of industry experience in lieu of education.
- Familiarity with an ERP system such as NetSuite.
