What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify, establish, and maintain sales opportunities with assigned agencies and departments
- Manage a weekly pipeline of sales opportunities, quotes, and orders
- Travel to client locations and attend events to cultivate sales opportunities
- Provide price quotations and establish proper credit or contract terms with customers
- Collaborate with customers on product development and improvements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven work experience as a Sales Representative
- Established understanding of Government Sales and Federal Contracting
- Experience working with Department of Defense, Military, Federal Agencies, and Law Enforcement
- Ability to complete work within given deadlines with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills and the ability to carry out skillful negotiations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree and three years of sales experience; or 5 years of industry experience in lieu of education
- Familiarity with Salesforce or an ERP system such as NetSuite
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Office Suite
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain security clearance if required
