What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Execute all sales activities from lead generation through to closing in an assigned territory
- Consultatively sell by identifying customer needs and presenting tailored solutions
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance satisfaction and loyalty
- Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and implement strategic territory plans
- Manage a diverse product portfolio and align sales efforts with company-defined strategies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- College degree or equivalent/applicable experience required
- 2-5 years of experience in complex sales environments, ideally with long sales cycles
- Proven background in B2B sales with strong client relationship management skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems for managing sales pipelines and optimizing performance
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer locations a minimum of 3 days a week
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a laboratory or research environment
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as SPIN Selling or Challenger
- Experience using collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, C4C, or Qlikview
