What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Educate healthcare professionals on clinical evidence and product efficacy to support on-label prescribing
- Drive sales performance to meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations
- Build and maintain professional relationships with primary care healthcare professionals and pharmacy staff
- Develop and execute a local strategy and business plan with sales leadership to enhance sales results
- Manage customer objections effectively while adhering to company ethics and compliance standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS/BA degree required
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or related transferrable sales experience
- Proven track record of consistent high performance in a sales-focused role
- Strong understanding of the primary care market and healthcare industry
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Product launch experience is a plus
- Knowledge of territory and established relationships with key stakeholders is preferred
- Proficiency in Veeva CRM, Microsoft Teams, and calendar-based call planning tools is advantageous
- Marketing and project management skills within the biotech/pharma industry are beneficial
