What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Educate and engage healthcare professionals about clinical evidence and product efficacy to support on-label prescribing
- Drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts meet or exceed expectations within the assigned territory
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with primary care healthcare professionals and pharmacy staff
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to implement strategies that generate high-performing sales
- Utilize emerging technologies and tools to enhance sales performance and improve proficiency
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS/BA degree required
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales, or related transferable sales experience
- Proven track record of consistent high performance in a sales-focused role
- Strong understanding of the primary care market and healthcare industry
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Product launch experience is a plus
- Established relationships with key stakeholders in the territory
- Proficiency in Veeva CRM, Microsoft Teams, and call planning tools
- Marketing and commercial experience with an understanding of financial processes
- Knowledge of the regulatory environment within the biotech/pharma industry
