      The Sales Specialist - Industrial Trade and Converting (SS-ITC) is responsible for providing tesa solutions to an assigned geographic territory in North America (TX, LA, OK, KS, AR, MO). The focus of this role will be a combination of face to face and virtual selling to key end user segments through distribution and converting partners to achieve sales goals.

      How you'll help the formula:
      • Meet or exceed all established sales objectives and goals for assigned territory.
      • Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities through targeted prospecting techniques such as cold calling, email outreach, social selling, networking, and leveraging CRM data and market insights.
      • Leverage data-driven territory management to strategically identify and engage target end users, understand their needs and buying behavior, and position tesa solutions based on key value drivers.
      • Develop and maintain an active, accurate pipeline in CRM to support financial goals and meet activity targets through consistent tracking, follow-up, and opportunity management.
      • Develop & own strong relationships with key Distributor/ Converter stakeholders, i.e. Sales Representatives (DSRs), Management, Procurement, Engineering, to serve as a strong selling consultant, conduct regular business reviews, and help jointly close sales.
      • Collaborate and confer with tesa Key Account Managers and internal, cross-functional partners as well as with channel partners to align on and create customer-centric solutions.
      • Performs other related duties as required.

      Key elements for your role:
      • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field or equivalent industrial sales experience (5+ years).
      • Effective communication and presentation skills, with ability to influence complex organizational structures.
      • Ability to successfully navigate the negotiation process from planning through to closure, reaching a mutually agreed upon outcome.
      • Strong analytical skills / creative problem-solving capabilities.
      • Must have a current, valid driver's license and physical ability to drive for lengthy periods.
        • Must be available for air/auto travel up to 70% of the time.
      • Skilled and proficient in use of computers to include but not limited to Microsoft products-Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint-as well as ability to use Customer Relationship Management software programs.
      • Ability and willingness to adapt work schedule to satisfy customer needs.
      • Spanish language capability a plus.
