What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform clerical work while training for a sales tax accounting function
- Maintain attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and objectives
- Utilize Excel and/or Google Sheets for various accounting tasks
- Assist in educating clients and tax professionals on multi-state tax nuances
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of two years of recent accounting and/or clerical experience
- Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-volume environment
- Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team
- Bilingual skills are a plus
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- College degree in a related field, although exceptions may be made for candidates with the right attitude
- Previous experience in tax consulting or sales tax accounting
