What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop custom Salesforce applications, components, and integrations using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and API services
- Collaborate with consultants and stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
- Implement complex business logic, workflows, triggers, and automation
- Build and maintain secure, scalable integrations with external systems
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed solutions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain a VA Public Trust Clearance
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and Salesforce Administrator (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma/GED + 9 years of Salesforce or relevant software development experience, or Associate's degree + 7 years, or Bachelor's degree + 5 years
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in collaborative, cross-functional teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Currently active VA Public Trust Clearance
- Platform Developer II, Advanced Administrator, or Salesforce App Builder certifications
- Experience supporting federal government agencies or working in a consulting environment
- Experience supporting Salesforce deployment, using structured DevOps and CI/CD practices (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Git-based workflows)
- Familiarity with Salesforce security, compliance, and FedRAMP requirements
