What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the loan processing and closing process for SBA 7(a), Express, and 504 government guaranteed loans
- Review approved loan packages to ensure all documentation provided is complete and accurate
- Coordinate communications with borrowers, SBA Specialists, internal staff, and closing attorneys
- Prepare and submit loan documents, ensuring compliance with SBA SOP and Regions' Credit Policy
- Monitor loan packages throughout the process to identify potential risks and ensure effective processing
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Six (6) years of SBA closing experience with knowledge of SBA loan program requirements
- Advanced commercial credit knowledge, including loan closing and legal documentation
- Expertise in reviewing collateral, lien filings, and environmental reports
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with commercial loan systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced knowledge of SBA's SOP requirements and regulations
- Specialized training in title, real estate, and government lending programs
- Experience with nCino and/or related Salesforce platforms
- Experience with SBA systems (ETran, SBA One, TSOFT)
- Bachelor's degree or certification as a paralegal
