What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Approve or make recommendations on credit extensions for new, renewal, and extension loans
- Conduct thorough credit analyses, gathering and interpreting credit information on customers
- Review customer accounts and portfolios to identify potential credit quality issues
- Utilize technological tools to assist in the credit analysis process
- Make informed recommendations and decisions based on credit evaluations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Typically four or more years of relevant experience in credit analysis
- Strong credit analysis and analytical skills
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficient in using various software packages for credit evaluation
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Background in economics, accounting, and/or finance
- Master's degree or CPA certification
- Effective technical report writing skills
- Experience in originating or monitoring a commercial loan portfolio
