      SBA Servicing Specialist I

      Are you an experienced SBA professional with a knack for managing complex loan processes? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

      United Community is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated SBA Servicing Specialist I to join our Small Business Administration (SBA) department. This role is responsible for managing and processing insurance documentation for our SBA loan portfolio, ensuring compliance with internal, SBA, and USDA requirements.

      What You'll Do:
      • Manage and maintain the insurance tracking process for the SBA department.
      • Coordinate with third-party vendors for insurance tracking and force placement.
      • Work weekly and monthly insurance exception reports and resolve discrepancies.
      • Scan and track insurance documents post-closing, including renewals and cancellations.
      • Review insurance types such as homeowner's, flood, hazard, liability, and worker's compensation.
      • Distribute Experian IQ Alert notices to team members.
      • Resolve post-approval insurance documentation issues.
      • Monitor UCC tracking reports and ensure timely filing of continuations.
      • Perform duties requiring knowledge of bank policies and SBA/USDA documentation.
      • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

      Requirements for Success:
      • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
      • Ability to learn SBA and USDA loan documentation quickly.
      • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
      • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
      • Strong attention to detail.
      • Willingness to participate in required compliance training, including BSA/AML.
      • Familiarity with SBA and USDA loan documentation is a plus.


      Conditions of Employment:
