What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Schedule tests, procedures, treatments, and services with limited supervision
- Provide patient instructions and education regarding preparations for tests and procedures
- Resolve customer concerns and issues effectively
- Maintain accurate patient scheduling and achieve quality scores as determined by leadership
- Contribute to the development of department processes as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a scheduling or customer service role
- Strong customer service skills and a willingness to work
- Ability to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
- Consistent demonstration of problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in scheduling within a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of patient care processes and procedures
- Familiarity with healthcare financial accountability and referrals
