What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and develop project schedules from plans and specifications, incorporating budget, quantities, and labor resources
- Continuously update and revise schedules to reflect actual progress and impacts
- Develop and maintain project cost code framework and resource-loaded schedules
- Prepare detailed reports for management review, including cash flow and manpower reports
- Advise the Superintendent and Project Manager on subcontractor and vendor performance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Undergraduate degree in engineering, construction management, or a relevant discipline
- Minimum of four (4) years of relevant construction experience, preferably in the heavy industrial sector
- Proven ability to track field progress and generate relevant reports
- Strong understanding of industry and safety standards
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Experience in a fast-paced construction environment with multiple competing priorities
- Advanced computer skills in scheduling and cost software
- Ability to travel extensively and temporarily reside at project sites
