      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Answer and evaluate incoming telephone calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel based on urgency
      - Schedule patient appointments, manage scheduling conflicts, and notify patients of any changes or cancellations
      - Build and modify provider master schedules and clinic calendars to accommodate various needs
      - Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures, including pre and post-operative appointments
      - Maintain accurate patient information and assist with billing processes

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of four years of related work experience, with two years in the same job family at the next lower level, or an Associate degree with two years of related work experience
      - Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams
      - Ability to handle high call volumes and manage patient interactions with sound judgment
      - Proficient in English language, grammar, and compliance with HIPAA regulations
      - Proven record of exemplary attendance and reliability

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in scheduling within a high-volume healthcare call center or medical practice
      - Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology
      - Familiarity with EPIC scheduling and electronic medical record systems
      - Experience using multi-line phones and managing call queues
      - Spanish-speaking ability
