What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer phones and manage calls in a professional and timely manner
- Schedule patient examinations according to company policy and ensure accurate data entry
- Communicate scheduling changes to technologists to maintain high patient satisfaction
- Pre-certify exams with insurance companies and verify insurance for same-day procedures
- Provide backup coverage for front office team members as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience using computer systems and typing skills
- Ability to handle a multi-level phone system with high call volume
- Strong communication and customer service skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- One (1) year of customer service experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology and previous clinical business office experience
- Bilingual abilities
