What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and translate next-generation radiomics methods for ongoing research projects
- Identify clinically translatable research problems and develop methodologies to characterize diseases
- Write and assist in developing grant applications to secure research funding
- Collect and analyze research data, conduct experiments, and document results
- Serve as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders, representing specialized research interests
What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least 3 years of post-doctoral research experience in medical imaging, oncology, and/or machine learning
- Evidence of productivity through at least 2 first-author papers or preprints in the last 5 years
- Experience handling large imaging datasets and conducting bioinformatic analysis
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Matlab, Python, and/or R
- Terminal degree required; PhD in Engineering, Medical Physics, or a related technical field
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in grant writing and manuscript preparation
- Involvement in clinical research projects, including IRB protocols and clinical trials
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and data visualization tools (R, SAS, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly)
