      League One Volleyball (LOVB) is redefining what's possible in women's sports. Founded in 2019, LOVB is a mission-driven sports performance, training, and media company set on transforming the volleyball landscape in the U.S.-and unlocking new potential for generations of female athletes. Volleyball is already the #1 girls' youth sport in the country, with 38 million current and former players and a uniquely women-first player base (~90% female). And yet, despite record Olympic success in Women's Indoor, Beach, and Sitting Volleyball, the sport remains largely overlooked by traditional investors, media, and brands.

      About The Role
      League One Volleyball (LOVB) is seeking motivated and energetic Seasonal Sales Representatives to join our ticket sales team for the 2024 season. This entry-level role will take place from August 2025 - April 2026 for 10-15 hours /week. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in the growing world of professional volleyball and play a critical role in driving attendance across all LOVB venues. As a Sales Representative, you will focus on selling individual tickets, group packages, and season memberships while providing exceptional customer service to fans. This position is ideal for candidates passionate about sports, sales, and delivering memorable experiences. This position aims to provide robust training and create an environment of ongoing learning, which will help you get your foot in the door as you launch your career in sports.

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities

      • Actively sell single-game tickets, group packages, and season memberships for events across multiple venues.
      • Engage potential customers through phone calls, emails, and in-person interactions.
      • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
      • Collaborate with the ticket sales team to meet and exceed both individual and team sales targets.
      • Support ticket sales campaigns, promotions, and special offers to attract fans and boost attendance.
      • Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
      • Represent the organization at games, events, and community outreach initiatives, promoting ticketing opportunities.
      • Continuously expand knowledge of teams, players, and venues to effectively communicate their value to potential buyers.

      Qualifications
      • Open to learning more about sales, customer service, and the sports industry (past sales experience encouraged, but not required).
      • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for engaging with people.
      • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
      • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
      • Proficiency in Google Office Suite
      • Willing to work 10-15 hours per week
      • Access to a personal computer or laptop.

      Education and Experience:
      • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in marketing, business, sports management, or related field a plus.
      • Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
      • Passion for sports and a willingness to learn about ticket sales is encouraged.
      • Experience with CRM software, ticketing platforms, or event coordination is a plus.
      • An interest in volleyball or the sports industry is beneficial.

      Compensation & Benefits

      The hourly base salary for this role is $15 per hour with a 10% commission. Actual compensation to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level, among other things.
