      Job Description

      As a Security Officer - Access Control Overnight in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and manage entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence supports a secure environment while providing exceptional customer service to everyone onsite.       What You'll Do:

      • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the manufacturing and industrial location.
      • Monitor and control access to buildings and restricted areas, verifying credentials and/or identification of employees, visitors, and vendors.
      • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols as needed.
      • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
      • Document and report any unusual observations, incidents, or security-related breaches according to Allied Universal protocols.
      • Support the enforcement of site rules, regulations, and policies to help to deter potential security-related issues.
      • Maintain communication with site management and the Allied Universal team regarding daily operations and any security-related concerns.
      • Assist with visitor and/or contractor registration and badge issuance as required by the location's procedures.

      Minimum Requirements:

      • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
      • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
      • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
      • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
      • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
      • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
      • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
