What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee and manage responses to security breaches, including identification and categorization of incidents
- Develop and implement security incident response plans (SIRPs) and recovery strategies
- Conduct in-depth investigations of security incidents using forensic tools and techniques
- Analyze security logs and network traffic to identify indicators of compromise and malicious activity
- Lead post-incident reviews and maintain detailed documentation of incidents and actions taken
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cyber Defense areas such as incident response and security monitoring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic knowledge of digital forensics and incident response (DFIR)
- Significant experience in SOC analysis or incident response capacity
- Proficiency with security tools and technologies, including SIEM platforms and SOAR tools
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 7 years of related experience in cybersecurity
- Bachelor's degree in information science, computer science, or related field
- Certifications such as CISSP or CISM
- Experience with SaaS incident investigation (e.g., GSuite, O365)
- Strong commitment to the organization's values and culture
