What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct financial modeling and analysis of healthcare claims data to deliver actionable insights
- Develop strategic reports using SQL programming, Business Intelligence tools, and Executive Dashboard
- Track and report on cost savings initiatives and their performance on a monthly basis
- Research and analyze Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement methodologies to educate health plans on financial impacts
- Present analytical results and findings to senior management and key stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or Actuarial Sciences
- 5+ years of analytics experience in financial analysis, healthcare pricing, or related disciplines
- 5+ years of complex database and data management responsibilities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and intermediate to advanced proficiency in SQL
- 5+ years of experience in quantifying and analyzing financial/performance management metrics
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's Degree in a related field
- Experience in healthcare medical economics or strong financial analytics background
- Ability to proactively identify and investigate complex medical cost issues
- Experience with industry-standard normalization/reimbursement methodologies (APR-DRG, MS-DRG, EAPG, APC)
