What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead payer contract modeling strategy and consolidation for large managed care payer negotiations
- Perform complex strategic pricing analysis to support negotiation and implementation of reimbursement rates
- Monitor contract financial performance and analyze managed care performance statements
- Provide training and oversight of modeling for proposed/existing payer contracts
- Prepare complex service line reimbursement analyses and financial performance analyses
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in financial healthcare reimbursement analysis
- Understanding of national standards for fee-for-service and value-based provider reimbursement methodologies
- Experience in financial analysis contributing to profitability and data management strategies
- Ability to identify and manipulate data from various financial and clinical databases
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in managed care contracting and negotiations
- Familiarity with healthcare operations and strategic planning
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of regulatory changes impacting healthcare reimbursement
