      Job Description

      BCS Allegient has a 35-year history of helping government, research, and private sector clients implement their programs and missions to achieve success. We offer a breadth of professional support services in the areas of business management, communications, systems engineering, analysis, mission execution, and organization performance. We are currently hiring for a part-time Sr. Energy Analyst to support one of our federal clients.

      BCSA is seeking an experienced senior energy analyst to provide research, analysis, and technical support to federal government clients involved in energy research and development. Desired attributes include hands-on experience with oil and natural gas industries, production technologies, understanding and knowledge of the energy resources and supply chains.

      Specific activities and responsibilities may include the following:
      • Conduct research and perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of domestic and international energy resources and markets as related to oil, natural gas, and liquefied natural gas, and develop text and graphical elements.
      • Assist in development of topical and technical white papers, background documents, and analysis as related to oil and natural gas production, processing, consumption and utilization, infrastructure, end-use markets, and associated energy industry.
      • Assist in development of technical documents, including strategic plans, technology roadmaps, presentations, and briefing materials, as well as fact sheets and presentations.
      • Assist in responding to Congressional, Administration, and Departmental questions and requests for information on programs and the status and outcomes research projects, including technical inputs to meeting documents and presentations.
      • Assist in analyzing policy, legislation, and regulations on oil and gas industry operations; conduct assessments and technical analyses of regulatory, environmental, and market issues impacting the energy industry.
      • Assist in interactions with other federal agencies, states, industry stakeholders, and the public, and preparation of outreach and engagement materials; support efforts to facilitate dialogue on technical, regulatory and policy issues.

      Job Requirements
      • Master's degree in engineering, science, or a related field.
      • Minimum of 15 years of related work experience preferably in energy industry.
      • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
      • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
